Frank Lazenby delivered the first load of "dirt" to the Australian Glass Manufactures (AGM) factory in Moonah on July 28, 1958. That six yards of sand was the beginning of an era of carting silica sand to AGM until the factory closed.

Frank's son Michael now runs the business that has diversified into mining rich black soil (which we call loam) as well as still producing quality washed white sands.

Lazenby Sand also stocks a wide range of gravels and mulches.

We also offer services such as mini excavations, driveway repairs, landscaping and agricultural services. Many of these services are seasonal and are subject to availability.
